Bats are
generally known to avoid humans however when they do enter
structures, it is usually high up and by following the air
currents. Bats cannot create entrances by chewing
therefore they enter thru pre-existing openings around power or
cable lines, water pipes, chimneys and exhaust vents.
Exclusion
measures should be used when the risk of trapping animals is
minimal. Fall and winter are best times for this due to the
smaller chance of encountering the flightless young. |
